This fun-loving, energetic girl is STILL looking for her forever home!

Merida is a German short-hair pointer mix with enough energy to power a small city

. She has been with us since she was only 3-4 months old and is now over a year old.

Merida gets along with other high-energy dogs but needs a proper introduction. As a German short-hair pointer mix, she is incredibly driven and smart. She needs a home that can meet her energy needs and give her all the affection she deserves.

Look through our adoptable cats or adoptable dogs online or come to our weekend adoption events:

Step 2: FILL OUT AN APPLICATION
Fill out an application at wagsandwhiskerspetrescue.com and
call to schedule an appointment 530-895-8888

Step 3: APPROVAL, PAYMENT, & PICKUP
Your new family member can be picked up if you're approved and the animal is spayed or neutered. Payment of the adoption fee is required to reserve the pet. Adoption fees vary for each dog, puppy, cat and kitten.

Wags and Whiskers Pet Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit all breed, NO KILL, animal rescue organization, incorporated in August 2015. We are a primarily volunteer driven group with a number years experience with animals and rescue. Our mission is to rescue, foster, rehabilitate and rehome, abandoned, abused and unwanted animals in Willows and Chico, California.

We rescue animals at risk of euthanasia in shelters, as well as those surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances, and those in danger of abuse or neglect. We are committed to helping the most needy, as well as the readily adoptable.
