Snow is an 8 year, 8 month old Great Pyrenees. She was raised from a pup by my sister-in-law, who now has early onset dementia and has been placed in a memory care unit. I have been living with her in her house for the past 2 years. I am moving to a small apartment and already have a mini chihuahua. I don't think Snow would do well in a small apartment.
Snow is very intelligent, gentle, loving and playful. She is healthy and up-to-date on her vaccinations. The biggest drawback is her table manners. She has been hand fed food from the table for several years. It was a habit I could not get my sister-in-law to break.
She would love to go on long walks and does very well on her leash. She likes to ride in the car and meet new people. My son has trained her to sir and speak in recent months.
I also think she would be a good candidate for dog communication button training.
