Meet Kiki! Kiki came to rescue after her owner had serious medical challenges and she could not care for her. We are told she was born 3-27-2023. She is 4 or 5 pounds. This little one is very sweet. She would love to just lay on your lap 24/7. She adores snuggling up in blankets, and enjoys wearing clothes to make her warm and cozy. She is potty trained but requires a schedule and someone that takes her out often. She does best with a fenced area that she can frequent with ease. She will sleep in her crate all night and not make a peep. She’s been good with cats and other small dogs she has been with while in foster care. She does not appreciate big dogs activity, so other large dogs would not be a good fit for her. She does not really enjoy kibble but likes Farmer's Dog or something like that (Fresh Pet, Vital, etc.) more natural diet choice. She would make a great tiny princess companion dog for someone who wants a sweet, gentle girl for their lap and to follow them around.

Most of our dogs require a fenced yard. We seek fully fenced yards with a physical, visible fence. Typically, the fence must be connected to the house/ a door in the home, and the dog safe fenced area must exclude driveway and car access. Shock/electronic fences will not be approved for most dogs. A sturdy, high quality crate is also required (due to safety concerns, no wire or soft crates will be accepted. Impact, Ruffland, 4 point contact locking door Skyline, Zinger Winger, etc type crate). We will be considering homes in W. Wa and possibly Oregon, no other out of state adoptions at this time. Adoption donation is 500.00 to help cover her costs while in our care such as her spay, vaccines, transport, daily care, food, etc.

REQUIREMENTS FOR ADOPTION:

- Securely and visibly fenced yard
- Sturdy/safe crate, due to the safety hazard wire crates will be not be accepted. Impact, Ruffland, 4 point contact locking door Skyline, Zinger Winger, etc type crate).
- Western Washington (WA), and possibly Northern Oregon locations at caseworker discretion. No other out of state adoptions at this time.

1. Once the application is received it will be reviewed by that animals caseworker.

2. If your application is seen as a good fit to the pet you are applying for we will request photos of your fenced yard as well as your current crate or the crate you plan on purchasing.

3. Once received we will schedule a phone interview with you to discuss the pet and the next steps, should a match be seen.

For the safety of children and dogs and limited information on dog the dogs interaction with children- R.E.D generally prefers/requires children in adoptive home to be approximately 5 or 6 years of age and up unless otherwise noted in the dog profile. All children must be behavior appropriate with animals. (4) R.E.D. does not a ship animals to out of state adopters.
