My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet our local celebrity, Dora the Explorer!
Dora is around 3 years old and she weighs around 58 lbs. Dora was spotted for over 1 year traveling a wide area and numerous concerned citizens became concerned that Dora had lost her way and her family. A group of volunteers made it their mission to rescue Dora. After being caught it was evident that at some point she had a family that loved her because she knew many commands and was proving to be a very intelligent girl. Dora is very playful. She bonds to her humans very quickly and would just love to be a couch potato when she is not out in the yard entertaining herself or having fun playing fetch. Her foster family has several older dogs and Dora seems fine with them, however, Dora would do great as well, as a single dog family because she loves her people! Any questions about her can be answered by her foster mom and we can put you in touch with her.
Dora is ready to travel when the perfect home is found for her.

More about this rescue

We are a group of volunteers in West TN dedicated to saving the abused, abandoned and unwanted pets in the south We do this by fostering them in our homes while we fully vet them and post them so they can find their forever homes. Most of our adopters are in the northeast because they don’t have the massive overpopulation problem we have here in the south. We are also dedicated to reducing the numbers of pets that are being euthanized each year by educating and promoting low cost spay/neuter options.
