Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
This is my current foster dog Amber. She came into the shelter as a stray almost 36 weeks ago and has been with me the last 15 weeks. I would appreciate it if you could please share my post to try and get her into her forever home. - 2.5 years old, female, 45 pounds and spayed. - Would do well in a home with another dog that can match her playfulness. She loves playing with my dog. - She is shy when first meeting people, but warms up quickly. - She is a toy destroyer, so Nylabones are the best for her. - Fully potty trained, but is let out frequently. She will go to the door to alert you that she needs to go out. - Very treat motivated and takes them gently. - Rides great in the car and loves long walks at the park. If you need a hiking buddy, she is your girl. - Her favorite thing is balls and playing fetch. She also loves going in her dog pool, doing zoomies in the backyard and sunbathing. - No problem with resource guarding of toys or food. - Would do best in a home with older children because she can be mouthy and jump on you when excited. - UTD on all vaccines, microchipped and on heartworm prevention. If Amber sounds like a good fit for you, please fill out an application: https://www.animalfriendshs.org/adopt/
