We will review it and calls will be returned. A fenced yard is a must. He will not do well with a senior owner due to his energy level.
Meet Oreo-2. He has a heart of gold and loves to be petted. He is a 5-year-old, neutered black n white Parti Cocker Spaniel boy looking for a home with a middle-aged family with someone who can be home most of the time. He is an owner give up from a lady who is now travelling for her job. He was having separation anxiety issues because he disliked her new work schedule. Always spending a lot of time with her, he wasn't handling the transition well. She dearly loved him, he was treated well and sadly, he came to rescue. When he is nervous, he paces and may submissive pee at times. He needs stability in his life and someone home with him who will not leave him alone for long time periods. An owner who will love him and can be home a lot or maybe works from home would be perfect. Quality time with him is a huge must. An active middle-aged family who can spend time with him, play with him and take him for daily walks or rides in the car is ideal. He is an active boy and at times has a lot of nervous energy. This said, he will be too much for a senior owner to handle.
He is heart worm negative and current on vet care. You must be able to afford his vet care as often as needed to keep him healthy. He has had some teeth extracted due to dental disease so you will need to stay on top of it. He loves his ball if you throw it for him and will snuggle up beside his you to watch television. He does best with dogs his size or with similar energy levels but has no experience with cats or big dogs. He can be with older children, but not with kids under 10. A fenced yard where he can play is a must due to his active energy level. He has been a very sweet, well-liked boy and will need your help to deal with his anxiety issues. Quality time with you and consistency-stability is the key to help him do better and thrive.
His adoption fee is $400.
