Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Coconut (Coco) is sweet, gentle and beautiful. But don't be deceived by her winning personality and good looks, this young lady is stubborn and has a lot to learn. Weighing in at a svelte 59 pounds, she is strong, smart and willful. This one-year-old is also full of puppy energy, which means she's super playful and needs lots of exercise and attention. Also, get ready to hide your slippers and pillows, because she does like to grab fluffy things and get a little mouthy.
When you first meet Coco, she'll be timid at first, but warms up quickly and will learn to trust you in no time. With this beautiful girl, affection and attachment go hand in hand. The more comfortable and attached she is, the more she's going to want you nearby. So yes, she does have some separation anxiety.
Coco currently lives with three dog-savvy cats, and has never been aggressive toward them, but she will give chase and wants to play, so her enthusiasm can become A LOT! And she is always cautious but friendly with dogs when she's on a walk.
While she is gentle with small children, her loud bark and bouncy body would probably be too much for a family with toddlers or babies. Remember, Coco is a young pup who was found as a stray, so a family with an active lifestyle who has plenty of time to devote to her would be a wonderful match.
With lots of love, guidance, and plenty of patience, Coco has endless potential to be the best girl. She's ready to live a long and healthy life with her forever family, someone who's experienced with the energy, personality, playfulness, joy and mischief that make Labs the greatest dogs in the world. representative.
