Introducing Ms. Minka, a resilient feline with a story that tugs at the heartstrings. This captivating kitty was initially believed to be a feral stray, finding solace in the care of a kind-hearted farmer who sadly passed away. Thankfully, the farmer's caretakers continued to provide for her, catching the attention of one of our compassionate volunteers who was determined to ensure her safety before the farm changed hands.
Upon closer examination, it was discovered that Minka had already undergone a spaying procedure, despite the initial assumption that she hadn't. Although no microchip was found to trace her origins, her fate took a positive turn as we decided to provide her with the care she needed, including antibiotics for a minor respiratory issue and keeping her cozy despite her unexpected "naked belly" due to a shaved tummy.
Despite her tough exterior, Minka's true nature quickly emerged - she's a sweetheart through and through, with just a hint of spiciness to keep things interesting. It seems she was once someone's beloved pet, but circumstances led her to wander the countryside alone. However, she hasn't lost her affectionate side and readily accepts pets and affection, even reveling in belly rubs and massages.
Minka boasts a luxurious, silky black coat that demands attention, and she's eager to showcase her affectionate side to those willing to give her a chance. She would prefer not to socialize with other felines, Minka's journey is still unfolding, with each day revealing more about this enigmatic yet lovable character.

Minka is a very sweet cat. She is extremely talkative but only when she is saying hi or wants something. She doesn't yell when you leave the house. I love coming home to her greeting me with lots of little sounds.
She loves cuddles and belly rubs!!!, but she is still a bit skittish so if you make sudden movements or she feels constrained she will run away or cower, so she needs a gentle touch and her boundaries respected.
Although she is a bit overweight, she still will get excited and want to play (her favorite toy is the feathers and bell on a string that you move around), and she loves sitting at the window and watching the squirrels.
That said, she spends most of the day sleeping, she loves to crawl under the blankets and nap so check your bed before you sit on it!
Anyone who love a chill but talkative cat will love to have her !!
