My name is Beau!

My family and I adopted Beau from Austin Animal Center 2 years ago. He is a 3 year old mixed breed, resembling a lab, who loves walks, hanging out in the sun, and cuddling on the couch. He had been getting along great with our other dog, a mini-Aussie, before we introduced 2 kittens into the home. Beau had gotten on well with our old cat who passed last year, but the energy of 2 kittens and a 7 year old human in our small house has proven to be too much for him. We want the best for our dog, Beau, and after much careful deliberation have decided to seek out the quiet home that he deserves where he is the main attraction.

He is fully housebroken, crate trained, and he knows a few tricks: sit, down, sit up, stand up, spin, shake, and touch (place). He does great with people when he is out and about, and he loves going to the pet store to try out beds and sniff the shelves. He's a good boy who needs a calmer environment to shine.
