Meet Rebel!

She’s a 1.5 year-old, 6-pound, black and tan, female with a docked tail force of nature. She loves to cuddle and snuggle but can be skittish when being picked up. However, she does calm down once she starts trusting you. While she’s a big sweetheart, she’s definitely headstrong and fearless. A big dog in a lil' package!

Rebel is working on her leash skills but will need a little more encouragement and daily outings for continued improvement. She’s a bit of an escape artist. So she will need a secure home and a watchful eye.

Rebel is crate-trained but sleeps with her foster dads currently. She loves attention and will become your shadow. She’s great with other dogs and loves to play but has not been tested around cats. Rebel has been around a couple teenagers and was more than welcoming of their attention. Given her size, a home without small children is preferred.

Note: Rebel is located in Northern California (Sacramento County) and we will not fly this girl. She is available for adoption to California residents or possibly bordering states. The adopter selected for her must be willing to meet at or near her location.
