Meet Oreo, an adorable mix of Lab and another breeds, she has tall ears that add to her adorable appearance. If you are looking for a dog who is just WAITING for some little kiddos to love on,you have found her. Look at those pics! Oreo adores the company of older dogs and humans, but eagerly awaits adoption to claim her very own human or two. Bursting with energy, she loves nothing more than playing in her foster parents' spacious yard, where she swims in the wading pool and conquers the hill of dirt with gusto. With her endearing looks and boundless enthusiasm, Oreo can't wait to meet you and hopes you'll fall in love.

Thank you for adopting and not buying!!! Every week hundreds of highly adoptabledogs are put to death by local shelters. Most people would be amazed at the purebred and beautiful dogs available, if they walked into their neighborhood shelter.

Rescue organizations, like mine, work hard to save as many as we possibly can but is a never ending process with breeders and Puppy Mills selling unhealthy animals to the public. If you EVER saw a puppy mill you would NEVER buy again!

All of my dogs are neutered or spayed, vet checked, completely vaccinated, wormed, groomed and checked for heart worms. They are all are current on Heart worm medicine, flea, and tick medications. They are all microchipped as well.

Adoption fee is $300 to $350 (older "friends' can be less, please inquire. Puppies are $350 - Besides fully vetting all dogs, some of of the dogs I rescue, 1 in 5 I rescue have heart worms which is very expensive to treat. I also take in dogs who need surgeries and are close to death.

More about this rescue

About us: Cody was the first pet I owned as an adult. He was a Shih Tzu that I bought unknowingly, from a Puppy Mill. He fought for his life and barely survived, suffering for the first few months of his life. From then on I was stirred by a ferocious passion to save as many dogs as I could through networking with other rescue groups and saving the ones I could off of cold streets and unwanted in shelters. Cody did not live a very long life due to a weakened body, but I was able to love on him for eight good years! He will always be loved and forever remembered. With over 400 dogs rescued so far, we ARE making a difference!!
