Love is available for adoption to Massachusetts residents, as well as those in the other New England states.
Age: 1 year (as of 09/19/24)
Weight: 34 pounds (as of 9/26/24)
Location: RI
This dog has been spayed/neutered, is up to date on shots, on heartworm preventative and is microchipped.
Meet Love, a young canine soul brimming with kindness. Shy yet gentle, Love can be a bit apprehensive around unfamiliar faces, but give her time, and she'll warm up to you. Her playful nature shines when she's around other playful dogs, hinting at her desire for a furry companion. Love's sweet demeanor is infectious, spreading joy to those around her. The world can be a big, scary place for a dog like Love, but with the right family, she can find the comfort and security she needs. She would do best in a household that is quiet and predictable without any young children.
Love is a smart girl that is house trained, and crate trained but could use some work on her leash skills. A home with a fence would be ideal for Love. We recommend basic group training classes to help her learn commands, socialize with other humans and dogs, as well as build that fur-ever bond with you!
Her adoption will not just provide her a home, but also a chance to show her true potential. Love is not just a dog; she's a companion, a playmate, a source of unconditional affection. With her by your side, every day will be filled with a little more joy and a lot more love. Adopt Love, and let her show you the true meaning of her name.
Medical Note: Love is a parvo survivor. Her last symptoms were in December 2023, and we are so happy that she is okay now and ready to find her furever home!
An adoption donation is required for each adoption; please see HERE for more information about this.

* *Additional info you should know - For most of our dogs, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our dogs as an individual and do our best to describe and place them based on personality not breed label. Some dogs may not yet be in New England, nor ready for immediate adoption. There may be additional vetting, quarantine, waiting periods and/or fees depending upon your state of residence. If you have questions or concerns on any of this, you can discuss this with your Adoption Counselor.
