Hi, my name is Baker and I'm a border collie mix. The vet estimates I'm one to one and a half years old, and I weigh 58 pounds. I am a friendly, smart, and energetic boy! My foster family realized how smart I was when I recognized the pattern that putting on sneakers meant going for a walk, so I ran to get my leash!

I love being around people, in fact one of my secret skills is weaving under people's legs so I can be extra close- I bet I could learn agility tricks if someone taught me. I really like people and other dogs, but since my foster family are adults I haven't met little kids or cats yet and I can be a little rambunctious because I'm young.

Some of my favorite activities are following the family dog around, going on walks, playing fetch, and helping my foster dad build a woodpile by running away with the sticks. At the end of the day I am happy to curl up in a cozy spot with my people close by.
