SESAME
BASICS: Cane Corso / male / 5-6 years old
CHILDREN: Yes, older than 8 and with previous experience/training with big dogs
CATS: Unknown
DOGS: Female dogs over 50lbs, with very slow introduction and supervision
PERSONALITY: Low-medium energy level; Very mellow, sweet and affectionate; Enjoys getting treats, exploring outdoors in the yard with dog friends, and napping in the crate
TRAINING: Housebroken, leash trained, crate trained, knows basic obedience and how to use a dog door
SPECIAL NEEDS: Sesame was part of an animal cruelty seizure in January 2020. He spent nearly 4 years at a large municipal shelter while his owner’s court case dragged through the legal system. Despite this ordeal, Sesame has an incredible temperament and is a very balanced dog, but he will need a home on the quieter side to continue his decompression and acclimation to the good life.
VETTING: Fully vaccinated, neutered, heartworm negative, microchipped

Our dogs are available for adoption nationwide but preference is given to adopters willing to do an in-person meeting. Please understand that our dogs are not adopted on a first-come, first-served basis, but rather we strive for a "perfect placement" so we know that they will not be failed again.
