My name is Fava Bean and I'm a SUN cat because I'm bonded to my brother named Pinto Bean and we need to be adopted together. That's a tall order!
My brother is really outgoing. Me? I'm a work in progress. I'll get there if you have patience and give me lots love and time.

I will let you pet me with no problem. And I'll really like it when you sing to me. I'll come out for treats when I hear the bag. My brother Pinto loves affection, so maybe you will be okay with me hanging out to watch until I decide I want some too.

You will be asked to fill out an adoption application and generally a telephone interview will follow. Next, a home visit will be performed to help "ready" your home for the new cat(s).

Supposedly Unadoptable Cats are special and we require adopters for this particular group of cats to be experienced cat people.

While we hope that the commitment you make will be life long, all cats adopted out through this initiative will be returnable for the life of the cat.

These include: seniors, handicapped, FIV+, FeLV+, cats with treatable and untreatable illnesses.
