Diamond's Friends Pet Rescue is looking for a home for 5 year old Penny! This sweet girl came from a backyard breeder situation and is looking for a patient home that can help her learn to become part of a family.

She's lived outside her whole life, so she would do best in a home that can provide her with support and some basic training. She's currently doing well with potty training in her foster home, but she will likely need a refresher course in a new home.

Penny is very people oriented and social. She has been able to be left alone while her people run errands, but if she had a choice, she'd go to a family that is around to give her lots of attention! She is great in the car but is not a big fan of crates.

While she lived with many dogs in the backyard breeder situation, she is hesitant and can be growly/reactive with new dogs. However, we've seen that with slow introductions and patience, she is good with other dogs. It's taken about a week in her foster home to be able to be around their larger pups without any growling.
