My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! My name is Amethyst and I am a 1.5-year-old female tortoiseshell cat. I am a very friendly, confident and well-adjusted kitty. My foster mom was so impressed at how fast I settled in - it's like this place has been my home all along! I love to explore my surroundings and especially love to sit in my foster mom's window sills and bird watch. I also enjoy curling up in your lap and having you all to myself, purring away and making biscuits. And while I do love my human time and being snuggly and affectionate, I also can be independent at times.

I would be great as the only pet in my new home, but I also don't mind cat-friendly dogs! I'd prefer to be the only cat since other cats make me a bit nervous. And I'm great with kids!
