My story

Go to our To Adopt page at spokanewienerdogs.org and fill in the form. Most of the naughty dachshund stuff does not apply to this sweet girl.

Goldie was being beat up by a cat after being adopted so they asked to return her to the original owner. That owner would not take her back. A previous adopter asked if we would take her in and we said yes.

We are not sure of her mix but whippet mix perhaps? Great Amweican Mutt mix?

This is a very sweet dog who is a small medium sized girl. She is a bit larger than a lap but she enjoys sitting on folks anywise.

She came in too skinny so she is guarding her food which we cannot blame her for that. We just feed her in her dog crate and problem solved. That is her only glitch we have found so far on this happy girl.

This mellow dog is wormed and had all her shots as well as spayed so she is good to go.

Goldie is crate trained, rides great in a car, mellow, calm and did I mention very sweet. This is a well trained girl so no clue why they rehomed her.

Because she is so shy at first I recommend a home with no children. It only took a few days for her to warm up here.

We do require a fenced yard in town and no apartments, condos or invisible fencing.
