Honey Bun is a stunning Black and Tan German Shepherd. She is approximately 2 years old. This beautiful girl wandered up to a Hospice facility where the staff took her in and fed her Honey Buns while waiting for us to come and pick her up. We made every possible attempt to locate her former owners, by placing lost reports with our local animal control, placing posters all over the area where she was found and scanning her for a microchchip, unfortunately she did not have one implanted. Honey is scheduled for her spay surgery in a couple of weeks, and is up to date on vaccinations and she will be microchipped.
Honey is well socialized and loves everyone she meets. Honey Bun was full of milk when found but has since dried up. She is a very loving and protective Shepherd. Honey Bun is a very LARGE girl weighing over 80lbs. She is definitely a "people person". Honey is ok around small dogs, as she chooses to ignore them. She chases the cats but doesn't seem to have a real interest is catching them.
This girl is such a sweet dog. She wants to be with you whenever possible but goes into her crate and settles in quietly when told. She is housebroken and has excellent house manners and we are working on her obedience commands.
