My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Nova, the petite husky with a big heart! Weighing in at around 45 pounds, Nova is a sweet, affectionate girl who’s packed with personality. She adores cuddles, ear scratches, and belly rubs, and will happily share kisses if you let her.

Unlike most huskies, Nova is a quiet soul; she doesn’t bark or howl. Instead, she’ll spin joyfully at the door—especially if pizza’s on the way! Her only “voice” is a soft, Chewbacca-like hum she makes when happy or adding her opinion to a conversation. She’s perfectly suited for apartment living, as her low sounds are neighbor-friendly.

Nova is an unapologetic foodie! She’s an expert counter surfer, so crating during meal prep is wise. When it comes to food, she’s all about survival, so keep those snacks secured!

Leash walks, potty breaks, and car rides are all in a day’s fun for Nova, but she’s an inside girl at heart and always the first one back inside. She’s gentle, calm, and well-mannered indoors, getting along wonderfully with other animals and humans. Nova prefers the company of gentle dogs who respect her space and easygoing style.

At 2 years old, Nova is crate trained, house trained, and knows her way around a doggy door. She enjoys toys and an occasional game of fetch when the mood strikes. Having grown up with kids and a cat, she’s used to friendly, respectful playmates. Nova does shed seasonally, but a little outdoor brushing works wonders.

If you’re looking for a gentle, quiet companion who’s big on love and low on noise, Nova just might be your perfect match! Apply to adopt here: https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/13108/generic

Additional adoption info

The adoption donation varies on the age, breed and vet care provided. All of our dogs receive all necessary vaccines, spay/neuter, microchip, and dewormings. All of our long haired dogs are professionally groomed and our senior pups receive a dental. After filling out an adoption application, one of our team members will check your vet reference and set up a time for you to meet the dog. We do a home check as part of the adoption process and all members of the household (human and canine) must meet the dog prior to finalizing the adoption.

More about this rescue

We are a 100% foster based rescue organization. We do not have a facility that you can visit as each of our dogs live in foster homes until they are adopted. We run off of donations and every dollar helps!
