My story

Meet Cocoa, a very shy but loving 1.5-year-old Dachshund-Chihuahua-Pug mix with a heart of gold. Because of her heart-breaking past Cocoa will need a patient and understanding adopter who can help her build confidence. Once she warms up to you, she'll steal your heart with her affectionate nature. She will snuggle up in your lap for belly rubs and will beg for snacks more than she probably should.

This beautiful girl has a shiny brown coat and a curly tail that adds to her charm. Cocoa is spayed and has all her vaccines up to date. For the right adopter, foster-to-adopt is a possibility. Cocoa gets along famously with bigger dogs and is wonderfully friendly with cats.

Due to her shyness, Cocoa would thrive in a calm household with older children who can understand and respect her needs. With the right kind of love and guidance, Cocoa is sure to blossom into a wonderful companion. Are you the patient and experienced adopter who can help Cocoa come out of her shell?
