Meet Tim Mcpaw! This gentle and loving cat started out life on the streets, but has decided to embrace the simple life of a pampered house cat with open paws. He simply adores receiving massages and basking in the undivided attention of his human companions.

Tim is easily entertained by looking at the birds and squirrels through windows. He also runs up and down the staircase and doesn’t mind some quality play time with a wand toy! He likes to end the day snuggled up in bed with his humans, his gentle rumbling purrs serving as a sleep soundtrack.

Prior to adoption, all cats/kittens are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV/FeLV, vaccinated, dewormed, deflead, and microchipped.

More about this rescue

We are a nonprofit 501(c)(3) animal rescue organization dedicated to saving local at-risk shelter pets from the San Jose Animal Care Center. Our goal is to give adoptable animals a chance to shine in a casual and relaxed environment, and expand opportunity for adoptions, thereby reducing the euthanasia rate in Silicon Valley. The Dancing Cat also seeks to create a community of cat lovers by providing a place for fun social and educational events.
