My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Logan loves to play all the time either by himself or with you he doesn't care as long as he has something in his mouth. He carries his toys around all the time. He is happy and loves to go on long walks and eat grass and smell all the smells out there.

He would make someone a great dog. He loves to go out and explore the world. The best home for him would be no small dogs or cats and no small kids, and a fenced in yard. He likes some girl dogs. A meet and greet would be necessary for male dogs. This sweet boy is approximately 5-7 years old and about 50-60 lbs.. He is crate-trained and potty-trained.

He knows basic commands: sit, down, heel, leave it, and place. He does need training with his recall as he gets easily distracted when he's outdoors.

More about this rescue

The mission of Castoff Pet Rescue is to save and nurture homeless dogs; to match companion animals with loving, life-long homes; to foster responsible pet care; to control overpopulation in our community through spay/neuter programs; and to assist other shelters and rescue groups in any endeavor to benefit the animals. We believe that the same kindness, compassion, and generosity we extend to our two-legged neighbors should be given to our four-legged friends because they are not able to speak for themselves.
