Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Thickums is all character and will always put a smile on your face with her comical theatrics. She is all go and wants to explore the world and all it has to offer, but don't take our work for it, out volunteers love her too...
From a volunteer: My family and I had an amazing doggy date with Thickums. She proved to be an excellent car rider and got along wonderfully with my kids. We decided to start our date with a leisurely walk in downtown Auburn, which she did wonderfully on the leash and had great manners around other people.
One of the highlights of our day was stopping by Bruster's ice cream shop. We couldn't resist getting Thickums a pup cup, which she absolutely adored. Her excitement and joy were evident as she happily licked away at the tasty treat.
To burn off some energy, we headed to the play yard for a game of fetch. Thickums proved to be a perfect playmate, eagerly chasing after the ball and bringing it back with enthusiasm. Her energy and enthusiasm were infectious, and we found ourselves laughing and having a great time.
At 44 lbs, Thickums is the perfect size. She interacted wonderfully with the kids and immediately warmed up to us. The afternoon was filled with laughter, cuddles, and endless fun. It was a doggy date we won't soon forget.
