My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Skunk is rescued from the Quincy Animal Shelter in early January. She is super friendly and was turned over to the animal shelter due to the owner's child developing allergies to cats. She is a real cutie and becoming a favorite to the volunteers. She is vaccinated and spayed and has been an indoor/outdoor cat. She really needs a forever home since the other cats are starting to pick on her
Come on down and meet her. She would probably do best in a single cat household. Not sure how she does with dogs.

There is no adoption fee but we do ask for a donation since we are a non-profit organization.

More about this rescue

Friends of Plumas County Animals is a non profit 501(c)3 organization We are dedicated to improving the lives of the animals who come into our rescue and to reducing the number of unwanted/homeless animals through spay and neuter programs. When we volunteered at the local county shelter we built outdoor enclosures and play yards for the dogs and cats. Currently, Friends takes animals into our own rescue site where we spay and neuter animals who are above 4 months old and then re-home the animals. When we have the available monies we also help those in need of financial assistance spay and neuter their personal pets. Our adoptable animals are offered with no adoption fee to approved homes, and we survive on the generous donations of our adopters and supporters.
