Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Fostered in SE Michigan
Fenced yard required
Cindy Lou is a bit famous in our rescue. She is one of two collie puppies that came to us with a life threatening heart defect called Patent Ductus Arteriosus (PDA). Cindy Lou had her heart repaired by the cardiologists at Michigan State University and has made a great recovery. She will need a final heart echocardiogram to complete her care which will be covered by CRGI.
Cindy Lou is a very happy and sweet girl who loves to snuggle and hang out with her people. She can be talkative at times but her foster mom is trying to teach her to use her "Inside Voice". She has been around other dogs and cats and of course is great with all. She rides great in the car as well. Cindy Lou would do well in a home that isn't too boisterous only because she's a princess and a busy household is bit overwhelming for her at times. We also feel Cindy Lou needs some obedience training to help finish building her confidence especially in new situations.
Just like any collie puppy, she needs consistent positive reinforcement and someone to take her out and show her the world is a fun place and not scary. She is crate trained and house trained but of course needs continued follow up with all since she is young.
Do you have time for a sweet collie girl puppy in your life?
