Hello, I’m Gomez, a vibrant SPICY 3-year-young feline in search of my forever home. I’ve been neutered, and all my vaccinations and tests are up to date. I was discovered wandering the streets of Franklin, and though I can be a bit spicy at times, I’m generally a perfect gentleman—depending on the day, of course! Humans are not my first choice, but I have grown a liking to the shelter manager. I will even allow her to give me a pat or two.

I believe a barn, or an indoor-outdoor cat might be the ideal fit for me, as I’m quite energetic and love to play. If introduced properly to a barn setting with a warm bed or hut, and a few meals a day, I’m confident I’ll make myself right at home. I’m ready to earn my keep and fulfill my duties keeping rodents at bay.

Alternatively, I might do well with an understanding previous spicy cat owner who’s willing to socialize me and appreciates that I can be a bit spicy at times. I have been working very hard on my people skills and I am now enjoying the attention and pets that the wonderful shelter staff is giving to me. They say I am making great progress in my attitude & socialization skills! I am hoping to earn my social skills award, after all I am shmoozing them quite well lately.

It’s worth mentioning that Franklin Animal Shelter doesn’t often have spicy kitties like me, but here I am, open to finding my forever family. My shelter family has shown me love and provided me with a start towards forever, but I’ve never known a true family or love. I’m ready and willing to love, and all I ask is that you show me how.
