FOSTER NEEDED ALERT: Our sweet Mike is truly magic. He started his young life on the streets of Los Angeles with an unhoused individual who couldn’t care for him or his canine brother. They were both turned into the local shelter and split up. Poor Mike has been through a lot over the last few months, but he’s now focused on his future and has so much love to give. We think he’s about three years young. He’s fun, curious, and very energetic. He is smart and eager to please and will benefit from some good old fashioned basic training skills (no more jumping up to say hello or pulling on the leash, kind of training). His horrible diet from living on the streets did a number on his sensitive Boxer tummy, so he’s currently undergoing tests to help get his digestive system back on track. He’s great with people and kids. He was in a foster home with another Boxer and they got along great, but sadly, the family didn’t have the time to focus on his temporary medical needs. He’s fully house trained and loves being a part of a family. We are looking for an immediate foster for Mike and if you welcome him into your home, we promise we won’t blame you if you can’t let him go – he’s that fantastic in every way!
