Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Atlanta, Ga
Introducing TALIA
Talia is a 1.5 year old female poodle mix who was surrendered to us in December of 2023. At that time, she had a mass on her nose that was concerning and was therefore surgically removed. Luckily, the mass was not cancerous and there are no further concerns according to the veterinarian. The scar is still healing but there is visible hair growth coming in and therefore we expect the majority of the scar to be less visible over time.
Talia can be a little shy at first but then she will show you that she is an absolute LOVER for her humans! She is quite easy to bribe and very treat motivated! Weighing in at a healthy 53 lbs., she is a taller medium sized poodle mix. Talia is also dog and cat friendly and while she has not been tested with children yet, she would likely do great with them. We personally think Tally girl would be perfect as an only dog because while she’s dog friendly, she’s a little pushy in wanting to be the center of attention. Talia is house trained and crate trained, although she might whine in the crate for a bit until she becomes used to her routine. But if you’re a dog in the bed kind of person, she will snuggle with you as much as you want!
Talia loves to be outside! Each and every walk is just as exciting as the first time in her eyes. She also travels perfectly in the car and would truly make the best hiking buddy! However she also loves to self entertain with toys inside! Can you say full package?!
We were told that Talia is a boxer and poodle mix (Embark DNA test pending) so she is quite energetic and wiggly! She is NOT hypoallergenic (as there is no such thing) and she will require regular grooming so please consider this in her cost of upkeep.

The Maddux Movement (TMM) is a non-profit foster based Dalmatian rescue located in Atlanta, GA. Although our rescue is breed focused, we are not a breed restrictive rescue. Our mission is to rescue and rehome animals that are in abusive, neglectful or endangering situations, which includes traditional or open admission shelters, strays, owner surrenders and puppy mills. Adoptions are not based on a first come first serve basis. The individual(s) selected will be chosen based on the needs of each individual dog.
All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations (including leptospirosis and canine influenza).
Additionally, each adopted dog will be sent home with a new Fi Series 2 GPS Tracker Smart Dog Collar (with a 1 year subscription), a copy of The Forever Dog by Rodney Habib and Dr. Karen Becker and a complimentary dog blanket.
