Nikita is the sweetest little meatball! At only 30 lb., this girl packs a lot of love into that beefy little body.
Nik was picked up by Animal Control after being hit by a car. Assuming she had a broken leg, she was taken to the emergency vet... where they discovered she had not just a broken tibia but also 2 femur fractures that were already healing.
Nik loves to play and loves to go for walks, though she's still polishing her leash skills. While Nik likes all kitties, she can be selective about her dog friends. She enjoys smaller dogs and laid back friends, but she's not a fan of big dogs that get up in her face. Her absolute favorite though are tiny humans, who she *adores*. She absolutely lives to snuggle with the toddler in her foster home!
Nik is a next-level snuggler who will bring so much joy to her forever family!
Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label. Each dog in our rescue is in a loving foster home, where they can grow, play, and recover from their time spent on the streets or in a shelter. If you'd like to meet an adoptable dog, please fill out an application on our website, www.edcr.org. Because we are a foster home based rescue a completed adoption application is required to meet our adoptable dogs.
