My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sweet Elf is the easiest kindest dog in the world. Despite being abandoned in a storm in Texas, she is still very trusting of humans and super loyal! She is the cutest, cuddliest house hippo you’ll ever meet. Her favorite things to do are to be near her people, have a snack, and snooze (lots and lots of snoozing!!). She enjoys walks but probably maxes out at around 3 miles with her older lady joints. She is extremely tolerant/non-reactive and loves all people and animals.

Underdogs requires an adoption application from all potential adopters. We will review every application and contact you regarding your application approval status. Our adoption fees are: $250 for adults and $300 for puppies.

More about this rescue

Underdogs is an all-breed dog (and a few cats) foster-based rescue. We assist high-kill shelters and abandoned animals through cooperative rescue efforts in Colorado, across the country and abroad.

Our dogs are adopted out fully vaccinated and spayed/neutered as age allows. If our puppies are too young to be spayed and neutered, we take a spay/neuter deposit at time of adoption.
