Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Despite her smaller size, Cocoa has a big and wonderful personality. She is goofy, spirited, playful, and friendly. When not ripping the squeaker out of stuffed animals, she enjoys wrestling with canine friends, and long neighborhood walks. Despite being a Pug, she is energetic and looking for a lively family to keep up with her games (preferably one with another playful companion). She would also do well with a home without shared walls. Cocoa is kennel and potty trained and friendly with dogs, cats, and children. To add this party girl to your home, please complete an application at www.bounceanimalrescue.org.
Cocoa is a 3-year-old Pug rescued from a high-kill shelter. This dog is current on vaccinations, microchipped, 4DX tested, and spayed. This dog is also tested with other dogs, kennel-trained, and housebroken. Cocoa does not attend our Saturday adoption events and is available by private adoption appointment. She is located in foster care in Fort Collins. We would love for you to meet this dog and see if it might be a good fit for your home.
The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website: www.bounceanimalrescue.org/adoption/. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal for the Saturday adoption event. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals.
We do offer midweek private adoption appointments for approved applicants pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. (If interested in viewing multiple animals at one time, we encourage you to attend our adoption events!)
Please note, we do not have the ability to process adoption applications at our adoption events, so please plan accordingly. If an application is submitted past 5pm on Monday-Thursday, it will begin review the following day. If submitted on Friday-Sunday, it will begin review on Monday. It takes approximately 1-2 business days for an application to be processed.
Our adoption events take place every Saturday from 10am-Noon at Pet Supplies Plus (Front Range Village, 2912 Council Tree Ave #100, Fort Collins, 80525).
For additional questions regarding meeting this dog please contact us via text/email at 970.699.6772, or contact@bounceanimalrescue.org. We apologize for any inconvenience, but due to a high volume of inquiries, calls and voicemails regarding adoption will not be returned.
Thank you for choosing adoption! If you would like more information on our organization please visit our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org.
