Meet this cutie named Ranger aka Tux! He and his sister Spot girl are in a foster home and doing great but really are hoping for their own FOREVER home. As of January 2024 they are 9 months old, current on shots, neutered, litter box trained, and just a fun loving fella. April 2023 dob. Ranger with his "soul patch", along with his siblings, Spot-girl and Patch, are rescues from a neighborhood off Country Club Road in Morehead City and currently being fostered in an a no-dog environment.
His green eyes are either wide open, alert to all around him, or closed...sitting on your chest purring and enjoying all the love you can give him. If you’re interested in meeting Ranger please contact the shelter and a meet and greet can be arranged. Serious inquiries please and thank you!!

We are a non-profit orginization relying on donations. We do have a contract witht the county to provide shelter for strays brought in. We have limited space but try to get our animals back to thier families and if that can not be accomplished we work hard on finding them new homes.
We do what we do because we love animals. We are realistic in in efforts, understand the problem and work towards educating the public on what needs to be done to prevent over population.
