My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Milo H is a special needs kitty who has been patiently waiting for his forever home. He was saved by an amazing community member who currently cares for him. Milo H came to Stray Cat Alliance paralyzed in his hind legs. Due to his paralysis, Milo H needs some extra help in his daily routine. He requires assistance with going potty, which involves helping him express his bladder a few times a day. While this may sound daunting, SCA provides guidance and training to help you care for Milo H in the best way possible. He gets around just fine on his front two legs and loves to play and explore. He is leash trained and and a very loyal and caring boy.

Go meet their pets

Due to COVID-19, we are not currently holding in-person adoption events. Most of our cats are in foster homes and we are doing virtual meet-and-greets with them.

We also have adoptable cats at our two partner cat cafes – CatCafe Lounge (https://www.catcafelounge.com/) in West Los Angeles and Cat Therapy (https://www.cattherapysb.com/) in Santa Barbara. You can make a reservation on their websites, or we can arrange a meeting by appointment once you have filled-out our application and spoken to our team.

More about this rescue

Stray Cat Alliance is a non-profit organization focused on educating and empowering communities to advocate for every cat’s right to be safe, healthy, and valued. Everyday, our team works to save the helpless lives of kittens and cats by providing: spay/neuter, trap-neuter-return (TNR), adoptions, wellness care, medical care, and community shelter support. Our goals are to:

-Eradicate cruelty toward cats through advocacy, rescue, and education.
-Find loving forever homes for cats and kittens taken in through all of our programs.
-Help shelters transform from executioners to safe havens for cats by implementing SCA’s life-saving policies and procedures.
-Educate the community about the plight of free‐roaming cats and empower people to take action to stop population growth through spay and neuter.
-Create and sustain a No-Kill Nation by mentoring other communities to become no-kill through our grassroots programs.

Stray Cat Alliance envisions a time when all cats are valued and safe whether in homes or communities, and when shelters serve as temporary safe havens.
