Here's what the humans have to say about me:
NO Trick just a Treat named Jasmine- a guessed to be 6 year old, 12 pound Chihuahua/Dachshund mix. Jasmine was found as a stray seen on and off for weeks, finally trapped- her owners came forward and in the end surrendered this little lady to the rescue. Jasmine is typically a shy thing that will find a spot to hide when scared- unless you have the vacuum out- then its game on trying to chase and save the day. Jasmine does just fine with other dogs, some kids visiting, but has yet to meet/be around cats. Jasmine is crate trained, potty trained (with a rare nervous accident), and knows a few basics/leash walks well. Here are some Q/A with Jasmine's foster:
>Describe the ideal home for your foster:
- Someone whom is home a lot- she is a Velcro dog. She doesn't require a ton of activity but does well on a leash and is happy just spending time with people.
>What kind of routine and/or activity does your foster enjoy most:
- She mostly likes to sit with me if I'm working on the computer- she will jump up on the chair I am sitting on and snuggle in right behind me. She is pretty much a couch potato as long as she is right next to you.
>Does your foster need a fenced yard? If so, what type:
-I think a fence would be best as she was found as a stray- she needs time to do her outside duty as she doesn't approve of being watched doing so- and definitely wouldn't go on a leash.
