Hi there! I'm Zeke and I'm a handsome 11-year-old-boy! I have the softest, most rabbit-like fur. Life with me has been a journey for my foster mom. I've had a very rough life so far and was extremely fearful at first, but I'm opening up very quickly. I was brought to Kitty Connection by animal control, where I had been found in a neglect situation and had been hiding in a dresser drawer. I was in need of some dental work, but the volunteers and vets here have been taking very good care of me. With their patience, I've come out of my shell and have become a playful and friendly guy! I'm more of a night owl and will beg my foster mom to play with me right before bedtime. Though I'm an older cat, I play like a kitten and can be very loud and rambunctious when I get the zoomies! I love batting at my humans feet all night long (sometimes so much that they have to kick me out of the room)!

I'm becoming more and more affectionate and like to follow my foster mom around, but I still flinch sometimes when she reaches to pet me. I like to rub against her legs, but I'm still getting used to pets.

Ideally, I'd like to live in a home with older cats around who will teach me their ways. I'd like a low-stress environment without dogs and a mellow family. Even though I get scared, I've never shown any signs of aggression. I'm not too sure about the human baby that lives in my foster home (which is also why I only like to come out at night). I don't mind the 7-year-old that lives here, especially when she gives me treats! I'm really just a silly sweetheart who deserves a loving home that understands that I just need love and patience.
