Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Don’t tell the others, but Baylee is our favorite frenchie to day. She is older, a little crusty, and the epitome of CUTE!
Baylee was surrendered by a family who loved her very much, but they weren’t able to keep up with her medical care. Baylee developed a very rare skin condition called calcinosis cutis- diagnosed via skin biopsy. Thanks to the help of a dermatology specialist, her skin is improving and she’s looking great. While working up her skin, we also learned she had cushings disease - this is where the adrenal glands produce too many hormones. Luckily this is a medication that is controlled with a once daily medication that she takes like a champ.
We couldn’t say a bad thing about Baylee if we tried, but her cushings disease makes her a hungry little hippo. If she isn’t napping or lounging with her friends, she’s searching for snacks on the ground she can eat. We hope that as her disease becomes more controlled this may subside, but she may just remain a hungry girl for life.
Baylee has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and heartworm tested. She will come with several months of her cushings medication, along with 6m Heartworm prevention and 30 days of pet insurance.
