Meet George! He's the cutest little prancing pup you've ever met, and he's available for adoption to families living in Orange County!

George came to us from the Riverside Shelter where he was at risk for being afraid. While he is a shy little guy, if you give him a week to settle into your home, he'll bring you immense joy as he prances around your house! He may not instantly bond with you at his meet and greet, but we promise that your patience with this little 15lbs guy will be SO worth it.

George's foster mom reports that:
- He is a sweet, gentle love bug.
- He loves being in his human’s lap or right next to them on the couch.
- He barks at birds and airplanes, but not much else.
- He likes little chew toys.
- George LOVES blankets!
- And he does have a little chewing habit - things like cardboard and paper. Christmas was quite an opportunity for him. ?
- He doesn’t jump up on the couch or bed. But he loves being lifted onto both.
- He is very excited about meal times - his and humans. I have been feeding him separately from the others.
- He loves treats, but won’t take them out of my hand yet. (There must be a story there. ?)
- He loves playing with doggie friends who are about the same size (he has 6 foster siblings that he loves), but gets a little put off by bigger dogs.

George will need some help with potty training, and we are recommending a belly band for him until he understands the potty rules in your home. However, he is trainable!
