My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Are you looking for a companion to take walks with and then come home and snuggle on the couch together? Hank might just be your guy! He came to us as an owner surrender because the other dogs in the household were not kind to him. He is the sweetest boy and loves his cuddle time just as much as his walks. Hank is a lover for sure and enjoys being pet as well as receiving the occasional treat. He is best friend material without a doubt. If that is what you need, then look no further than ARC. Call us today to schedule an appointment to meet this sweet boy!

My ideal home:

More about this rescue

The Animal Refuge Center (ARC) of Fort Myers is a not for profit animal welfare society dedicated to stopping the escalating cost to impound, care for, kill and dispose of dogs and cats dying for no reason other than having been born. ARC is helping to cut the large numbers of homeless animals which eventually cuts the costs to taxpayers, which to date has reached over half a million dollars a year.

ARC is a non-euthanasia organization. Once we accept an animal for adoption, IT WILL NOT BE DESTROYED TO MAKE ROOM FOR ANOTHER. We are here to help the unwanted and neglected animals who now face certain death.
