Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Snoopy. Snoopy came to us when his family surrendered him, so he could receive the attention and love he deserves.
Snoopy's foster mom reports that he is a wonderful boy, who has a charming disposition and has adjusted well to his foster home. He has a a lot of energy and loves to play ball or with any toy. He is a great retriever. Snoopy is potty trained, uses a doggy door, gets along with other dogs, when introduced properly, greets people gently and is very friendly. Snoopy sleeps though the night, does well when left alone, loves to go on walks, which he needs a couple times a day to expend his puppy energy. Snoopy rides well in the car, does not bark, enjoys being petted and doesn't mind baths or being brushed. Snoopy is a chow hound and will counter surf, if you aren't watching. He does fairly well on leash, but needs a bit of training. He knows sit, shake and down. He is a typical cocker and will be your velcro dog. He will love his person, unconditionally.
Snoopy would not do well in an apartment or condo. He needs a secure yard and someone that can be home with him the majority of the time.
Snoopy has been to the vet and has a clean bill of health.
If you have a lot of love and energy to share with a love bug, Snoopy is the dog for you. He will cuddle up on the sofa with you, but while not cuddling, he will be bringing you toys to throw or just hang out with you.
If you are interested in Snoopy, please go on our website at norcalcockerrescue.org and fill out an adoption application.
