My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Mabel!!! Hi, my name is Mabel. I am a 1year old Boston terrier who will likely weigh between 15-20lbs once I get back to an ideal body condition. I am spayed, current on vaccines, heartworm negative and microchipped. I am not housebroken but we are working on it. I do try to let people know that I need out. I'm a little wary of other animals near my food, which is understandable considering what state I came to the rescue in. I am a little scared of cats but I love other dogs especially if they want to play with me, although it may take me a couple of days to warm up to them. My rocky start in life means I am lacking in manners but eager to learn. I crave attention and have a ton of energy. Like so much energy that I sometimes go sliding across slick floors. If you want an active, bouncy, friendly, and outgoing little friend I'm your girl, as long as you're willing to help me understand rules and boundaries.
