Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Freddie!
Freddie is an adorable 3-month-old Lab mix puppy. He is currently fostered in Millington, MD.
Freddie and his siblings are all about their people. They are very affectionate and want to be with their people as much as possible. They love to be held and cuddled. They are also very food motivated which will be a big help with training. Please remember little puppies come with sharp nails and teeth, so please consider that when you apply, especially if there are young children in your home.
Freddie and his siblings are recent arrivals to Puppy Paws Rescue, so we will continue to update their bios as we learn more about them.
Please Note:
Unless an existing good vet record exists, we will not adopt to anyone further than a 1-hour drive from the listed location. We need to be in close proximity to adopters when we need to follow up on vaccinations and spay/neuter. There is an additional $200 spay/neuter deposit for an adopter within one hour who does not have a current or prior good vet record.
Pup cannot be left alone for more than 3-4 hours at a time. This is necessary for potty breaks and much-needed socialization for a pup this age.
We review veterinary care for applicants. This includes regular well visits, core vaccinations, spay/neuter, heartworm, and tickborne tests, as well as regular monthly heartworm prevention and flea/tick prevention. You MUST contact your veterinarian’s office to permit them to speak to us BEFORE we call them to verify the care you have provided for your pets.
Applications are available at www.puppypawsrescue.org If your application meets our adoption criteria, we will contact you within 1 week. At that time, you will be contacted (usually by email) to schedule a phone interview and a virtual home visit (Facetime, Skype, etc). PLEASE CHECK your SPAM folder for emails from Puppy Paws Rescue.
Due to the volume of applications, applications that do not move forward to an interview may not receive a reply within that time frame. Our rescue is an all-volunteer team managing families, our paying jobs, households, foster dogs, application processing, interviews, home visits, follow-up, transports, and much more. We ask that you be courteous and patient with us.
If you’re seeing this listing the dog/puppy is still available. Please do not send an inquiry asking if the dog/puppy is available.
All of our dogs/puppies are kept in private foster homes. For this reason, we do not schedule meets until after an application has been processed and approved. If you’re interested in meeting the animal, you must first submit an application on our website- www.puppypawsrescue.org. If you're not ready to adopt but would like to learn about fostering, please message us to get started. We are always looking for fosters!
