My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sallie was found as a stray on LaSalle Street in berwick. Sallie became part of a TNR (trap,
neuter, return) initiative in town but rescuers quickly realized that she was friendly and had the
potential to be a house cat. Sallie’s life has been a whirlwind the past couple of months with
being trapped, spayed, fostered, and eventually brought to the ARC shelter. Because of this
Sallie is still shy and timid but she becomes more loving and outgoing every day. Sallie needs
someone that will help her come out of her shell and learn that there are good, loving people in
the world.
Sallie is spayed, microchipped, up to date on shots and tested negative for felv and fiv. To
adopt, please go to our website nokillarc.org and fill out our adoption preapproval form located
at the bottom of the “adoptable cats” tab. Once we receive your form we will email you to
proceed with the adoption process.

Animals are shown by appointment only at our shelter, which can be arranged by contacting Vicki Hess directly at vicki@nokillarc.org.

Animal adoption fees vary depending on the animal. Understand that ALL animals from Animal Resource Center are spayed / neutered, up to date on vaccinations, have had blood / parasite screening and will be microchipped upon adoption.

If interested in adopting an animal from Animal Resource Center after scheduling an appointment to meet them, you must fill out an application and provide a vet reference as well as two personal references.

If your application is approved, we will conduct a home visit with the animal to ensure that your home and family members are a good fit for them and you!
