Here's what the humans have to say about me:
It is with a heavy heart that we are looking for a new home for Zoey,a 4-year-old Rat Terrier Mix and about 13lbs. She's a high anxiety dog and unfortunately our living situation is not suited for her needs. She needs a home where she can run and play and we can't provide that for her due to our need to downsize into an apartment.
She's a healthy, active dog with a very loud "voice." We rescued her in 2019. She's "hit or miss" with other dogs. When she's left off the leash, she is ok but she does show signs of leash aggression when on walks. She is housebroken and loves to cuddle.
We have tried a few times to bring in a trainer but nothing has helped with her barking and anxiety. And now financially, we just can't continue.
It is our hope that we find the perfect person to take her and give her the life she deserves. It will take someone with patience, who is willing to work with her. A home with no other dogs or children would be ideal.
