Meet Fara!

This beautiful shepherd looks like a mali so we are fairly certain if her adopter has a DNA test on her she probably would be a high percentage Mali, after all, she is VERY intelligent. Like all Belgian Mali Fara is an active dog who is looking for a job. An adopter with large property or an apartment setting a daily runner and/or dog parks/hikes where both her mental and physical needs are met. Fara is a very healthy doggo UTD on all medical.
Fara has not lived with cats but we have cat tested her and she did well, however, if potential adopter has cats we highly recommending FIRST fostering to make sure kitties are safe. She LOVES children and would be great in a home with kids.

Anyone looking for this breed should already have in mind what they need to be able to provide and what will be well matched for them.

Fara is of course physically beautiful BUT her personality is amazing too. She is very dog and people friendly. She would thrive with an active household who is looking for an active dog partner. She is potty and crate trained. Fara is such a loving dog with no shown reactivity to dogs/people on or off leash and to keep it that way we would love adopters who BELIEVE in signing up for dog training.

Would you like to foster, adopt or jump on a foster to adopt 2 week trial? We highly recommend the FTA trials especially for active dogs to make sure adopters will be able to meet their needs.
We sadly don't hold adoption events so please email us or submit applications online to schedule a call to move forward to a meet and greet in san diego. ARWOB.org

More about this rescue

The A.R.W.O.B. group is based in San Diego, CA and operates mostly in Mexico as well as Southern California and will come to the aid of any animal in need which crosses our path. Our belief is to do what we can in order to “Make a difference in their lives.” From experience we have observed and feel the companion animals of Mexico are in the greatest need and accordingly we focus much of our efforts in Baja, Mexico. However, we certainly extend our help to our north of the border critters by accepting relinquished family pets, exiting both dogs and cats from the shelters of San Diego and of course by working in conjunction with other animal rescue groups in the community
