Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Thomas, the 11-year-old, 65 lb Pit Bull with a heart of gold. Resilient and affectionate, his journey started as a stray at Maricopa County Animal Care and Control with a mass on the inside of his rear left leg that landed him on the euthanasia list.
Thomas has won over our volunteers, and he is a playful soul who enjoys his toys. He had a successful mass removal surgery from his rear left leg that was benign, and a couple more removed that identified as mast cell tumors. This means Thomas gets 2 Benadryl pills/day to impede the progression of more mast cell tumors.
Despite initial medical challenges, Thomas is ready for a new chapter where he will happily follow you around with a toy in his mouth. He may thrive with a submissive canine friend or be happy to be your only. With the right love and care, this sweet senior promises immense joy.
Ready to welcome Thomas into your heart? Please fill out an application at foreverlovedpets.org/adopt.
