My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Max is such a sweetheart, gorgeous dog with a striking see blue eyes!
He is approximately six years old. He came to us As a loving sweet handsome boy. It seemed the first 2 clients that came to see him had unusually tall men and he was afraid of them. Showing us something from his past. . now he is confident and loves everyone and life! He has the best smile on his face all the time and always happy to go for a trail walk, play with you and other dogs get love. He will make the most amazing companion for you and your family. Your current dog will love his company. He is fun, would love to go to the beach, hiking, camping, car rides, curl up and watch movies, keep you good company.
He lives with a sweet female and they love to give each other kisses.
His markings and his long legs seem to fit the description of a Catahoula white leopard colored dog. He has a kind personality, very loving, sweet, and dog friendly.
He is up to date on vaccines, neutered and micro-chipped. More about this rescue

The Linda Blair Worldheart Foundation is a 501c3 non-profit California Corporation. Our work includes education the public, and working with state, local and national authorities to put an end to pet overpopulation as well as working at the national level to end illegal dogfighting. We visit our local shelters and find abandoned pets on death row, and we give them a second chance at a loving, permanent home. We are one of the few California rescue groups that rescue mothers and newborns (from one to five weeks of age), due to the high fee required by many shelters for their release of unaltered females who need tocontinue nursing their young. These animals are the first to be put to death in shelters. Shelters are unable to raise kittens and puppies and newborns cannot survive the diseases often found in such closely held captive environments. We give our rescued animals immediate medical care, proper nutrition, grooming, and socialization training. We have a few loving foster homes, but we need more caring foster parents. This temporary care can last up to a year so the animal can adjust and heal any physical or emotional wounds. And it always takes time to find the perfect loving home. Southern California Adoptions Only.
