Bella, a magnificent 7-year-old purebred Rottweiler, is the epitome of health and exemplary behavior. She has mastered the art of potty training, crate training, and walking gracefully on a leash. Her social skills are impeccable as she gets along famously with other dogs and adores the company of humans.
Tragically, Bella found herself in the midst of a devastating turn of events. She was living harmoniously with another female dog and a male Rottweiler named Bruno, who is also under our rescue's care. Their world was shattered when their beloved dad unexpectedly passed away within their very own home. In a heart-wrenching twist of fate, the dogs were left to fend for themselves for several days until concerned friends finally arrived to check on them, only to discover the lifeless body of their devoted owner. We were unable to secure a foster home willing to accept both dogs, and had to separate them to get them to safe place as quickly as possible.
The resilience and strength that Bella has shown during this unimaginable ordeal is nothing short of remarkable. Despite the tremendous loss of her dad, and her friend, she has experienced, Bella remains a beacon of hope and love. She serves as a testament to the indomitable spirit that can be found within our four-legged companions.
Now, more than ever, Bella is in desperate need of a forever home filled with warmth and understanding. She longs for a family who will cherish her, providing the stability and love she deserves. Bella's heart, though heavy with grief, is filled with an abundance of love and loyalty just waiting to be shared.
We know that Bella's journey to healing will be a gradual process, but with the right environment and the unwavering support of compassionate individuals, we are confident that she will continue to blossom into the magnificent soul that she is. If you are ready to open your heart and home to Bella, please reach out to us. Together, we can give her the second chance at happiness .
Our Adoption Process... If you are interested in adopting one of our fun loving not so rotten rotties, you will be asked to fill out a questionnaire that will allows us to get to know you better and to make sure the dog you are looking at is a good fit for your family and lifestyle. You can access our questionnaire by going to our website, www.rottenrottie.com click on the forms tab, and fill out the questionnaire and submit it online. After we review your answers, if we feel that the dog that you are interested in, is not a good fit for you and your family, we may recommend a different rottweiler companion. After we determine which Rottweiler(s) is the best for you, we will set up a time so that you can meet him or her at their house, where they will feel most comfortable and act as they normally do. We will require a home check to make sure the dog is going to a good home. An adoption contract will be signed to finalize the adoption and we do ask for a rehoming fee of $500 for most adults, $350 for most of our seniors 6 years and above for any rottweiler mix of any age (except puppies) . Our fees for puppies fluctuate depending on how much we had to invest into them or their litter, and weather they are purebred or a mix. These funds are necessary so that our organization may continue to rehome rottweilers. ALL of our dogs are sterilized, fully vaccinated and microchipped, heartworm tested negative and come with a collar and a leash. We have also addressed any injury or illness that they had when they came to us, or received in foster care. These problems will be disclosed to the adopter prior to adoption.
please be advised that in almost all cases we will not adopt our dogs to folks who live in different states. On rare occasion, if we feel that it is a PERFECT for both you and the dog, we sometimes will break that rule for our neighbors who live in Las Vegas. If you live in Vegas and would like us to consider you, please fill out an application.
