Meet Shein. This sweet girl may be quiet, but her story speaks volumes. Shein came from the "Mississippi 92" rescue mission, and while many of her friends have moved on to brighter days, Shein is still learning how to shine. She’s a delicate soul who’s spent most of her life hiding in the shadows and is seeking a special home to blossom in.

Shein is a soft-hearted girl who’s still a bit unsure about the world. She’s dog-friendly, but with people, she prefers to observe and take things slow. Affection is still overwhelming to Shein – but she’s never aggressive. Just quite timid. Shein needs a calm, low-traffic home in the suburbs or country where she can slowly build confidence and trust. A companion dog to guide her would be amazing! She’s still learning how to feel safe, so her new family will need to be patient and give her the time and space to decompress. This fragile girl is learning, little by little, that maybe the world isn’t so scary after all.
