Coda is in need of a new home because she is no longer getting along with her canine housemate and has begun fighting with her. This is a heartbreaking time for her family as she has been a part of the family for 6 years, after adopting her from a local shelter.
She has been designated as a Potentially Dangerous Dog in Howard County, Maryland after an incident with a neighbor's dog:
We recently moved into a new house. The backyard was clear but a neighbor brought their dog to the edge of our property. The neighbor's dog made the initial lunge and attacked my dogs. There was a fight that was promptly broken up by myself. My dogs received puncture wounds as well as the other dog. The neighbors called animal control. My dogs received a "Potentially Dangerous" declaration from Howard County even though the neighbor's dog initiated the attack and may have initiated it on my property. |
She has lived in a home with a 3 year old child.
She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and she is house-trained and crate-trained.
